We’re excited to share some incredible news—DOE Media has been named to the Inc5000 list for the second consecutive year! This recognition celebrates our growth, innovation, and unwavering dedication to delivering results for our clients.
To mark this achievement, our CEO & Founder, Ramzey Nassar, and team leader Jacob Chandler participated in Inc.’s Build-a-Biz Challenge. In this fast-paced and fun exercise, participants drew three random cards that defined their expertise, their target audience, and the audience’s key need. Using these prompts, they created and pitched a brand-new business idea—in just five minutes!
What followed was the creation of SaaSy, a SaaS platform designed to empower makeup artists with tools for collaboration, growth, and mental health support.
The Build-a-Biz Challenge
Inc’s Build-a-Biz Challenge is no ordinary game. It pushes entrepreneurs from the fastest-growing companies in America to think quickly, adapt creatively, and pitch compelling ideas in record time.
For DOE Media, the random cards presented an intriguing mix of prompts:
- Who they are (Expertise): Influencers
- Who they’re creating a product for (Audience): Makeup artists
- What those people need help with (Need): Mental health
With only five minutes to brainstorm, Ramzey and Jacob turned these elements into a clear, innovative vision—showcasing the same quick thinking and problem-solving that make DOE Media successful.
Introducing SaaSy
SaaSy is the ultimate platform for makeup artists and influencers, designed to inspire confidence, build community, and address mental health challenges. Here’s what makes SaaSy stand out:
- Daily Affirmations: Uplifting messages to motivate and energize users every day.
- Mentorship Opportunities: A peer-to-peer network where experienced influencers guide and mentor newcomers.
- Community Ecosystem: A space for collaboration, shared learning, and mutual growth.
- Future Vision: Expanding into physical spaces, such as pop-up spas, and creating the ultimate “SaaSyverse.”
What started as a playful game turned into a powerful demonstration of DOE Media’s ability to think outside the box and innovate under pressure.

Narration
Inc5000 Reporter: “Welcome to Build-a-Biz, the show where we surprise the entrepreneurs behind some of the fastest-growing companies in America with a challenge to create and pitch a whole new business from scratch. All in under five minutes.
Alright, alright! So, here’s how this is going to work guys. You are going to pick out of these boxes three cards that are going to tell you three elements that you need to include in your pitch. Those elements are who you are – your expertise, who you’re making a product for, and what those people need help with.
So, let’s do it. I’ll pick from here; you guys can pick from those two. Alright, so you guys are influencers.”
Jacob: “Making a product for makeup artists.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “For makeup artists, okay.”
Ramzey: “Who need help with mental health.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Take it away.”
Ramzey: “We’re going to be focusing on YouTube influencers and Instagram and TikTok influencers specifically. And the makeup artists are going to have a service, a software as a service.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Write that down, Sass. That’s important.”
Ramzey: “Sass.”
Jacob: “Yep.”
Ramzey: “Sass.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Big Sass.”
Jacob: “Need some of that big sass orange energy, we got that big sass energy. And we’re going to call it SaaSy because it’s for makeup artists.”
Ramzey: “We’re calling it SaaSy.”
Jacob: “What rhymes with Sass? Other than, you know.”
Ramzey: “Class. Join SaaSy. To be top of class.”
Jacob: “Classy”
Ramzey: “To be classy.”
Jacob: “Stay classy.”
Ramzey: “Join SaaSy.”
Jacob: “Join SaaSy to stay classy.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Can we work, you know, like, words of affirmation into this somehow?”
Ramzey: “Oh, we have to.”
Jacob: “Oh, yeah When they open the app, they’ll have the affirmation. We’ll have Deepak from the show on there teaching them.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “We’re getting Deepak.”
Jacob: “Oh yeah, he’ll be part of that. We’ll have spas throughout the country, eventually, we’ll have a network of people.”
Ramzey: “Oh, we will have a partner network.”
Jacob: “They pay 30 a month, eventually, you know, we’ll open up little pop-up spas they can come to.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Right, right. All right, you got about 40 seconds left. Is there anything else that you really want to like lock in about SaaSy before we get to this final pitch?”
Ramzey: “So basically we have an ecosystem on our web app and mobile app that is a community feature and it’s a peer-to-peer network. The cool thing is like the power influencers can mentor the micro-influencers as well, based on like clout points.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Oh, you’ll have a whole metaverse.”
Ramzey: “The SaaSyverse.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “The SaaSy verse.”
Ramzey: “This is the win. Big dub.”
Jacob: “This is going to work.”
Ramzey: “Big, dub”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Big big dub.”
Ramzey: “You know what, you’re our business partner too.”
Jacob: “Hey we’re doing this now; you in?”
Inc5000 Reporter: “I’m in, let’s do this. All right. All right. I’m quitting my job. With that, why don’t you guys give us your full pitch? Take it away.”
Jacob: “Cosmetic industries, 20-billion-dollar industry a year. We’re going with the main influencers in it, the makeup artists that are really, you know, taking the top brands down to everybody. And we’re helping them with their mental health and just really growing a community of badass people.”
Ramzey: “But also what we’re doing is building a peer-to-peer network so, you get SaaSy points. So essentially, you can grow within the network and be top-of-class. I think SaaSy has tremendous growth opportunity. Tremendous!”
Inc5000 Reporter: “All right, guys, SaaSy, it’s a brilliant idea. I think that you’ve, you know, knocked it out of the park and created a whole new business. Thanks for playing Build-a-Biz.”
Ramzey: “Thank you so much. Onwards and upwards.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Onwards and upwards.”
Ramzey: “SaaSy to the moon.”
Inc5000 Reporter: “Goodbye, Inc magazine”
Ramzey: “Bye, Inc.”
